How to customize Windows 7 log screen.

Many of the people are bored of seeing the same old log screen of Windows 7. Well now you can change it by using these simple tricks which I will be showing to you.

Setting Background Image on Log Screen
 
Start>click on "run">Type "Regedit" Press enter>Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARES\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\Current Version\Authentication\Logon UI\Background
>Double Click on OEMBackground DWORD key.
  • Select the background image for Logon Screen with size less than 256kb in size. You can use Image Resizer if you want to use image of your choice.
  • Copy that image into the C:\Windows\system32\oobe\info\backgroungs folder.
  • Rename the image to background Default.jpg
  • Reboot and now your logon Image would have changed.
Display a message at start up.
  • Open Registry Editor (Go To start Run type Regedit & press enter).
  • Navigate to:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\Current Version\Policies\System
  • In the Right Side pane select & open LegalNoticeCaption and enter a value that you want to see in the Menu Bar. 
  • Next to ot open LegalNoticeText and insert the message you want to display each time Windows Boots.
  • Close Registry & Restart for changes to take effect.
